Have your breakfast the Italian way. Forget about big breakfasts with buckets of coffee and relaxing newspaper readings. For Italians breakfast has to be fast, and it is taken standing at the bar counter. Order a cappuccino and a cornetto, which is the Italian a bit sweeter version of a croissant. Rome has coffee bars on nearly every street corner, but if you choose Tazza d'oro at the Pantheon square, you can also take the opportunity to shop freshly grinded coffee. The place also has a large selection of chocolates (try the chocolate covered coffee beans), liqueurs, tea, etc.. Finally you have to try Tazza d'oros popular granita di caffè, which is coffee granita with homemade whipped cream.
