Today however I have some new content for you. It's been a long time since my last Friday Faves, and today I feel like sharing a few of my latest Instagrams from Florence. Remember that you can follow me on Instagram @birgittebrondsted.
Now that I have decided to stay in Florence, I am starting to like the city better than before. Not that I didn't like Florence before, but I never felt particularly connected to the city. Now that it looks like I will be staying here for quite a while, creating a whole new life here, I (fortunately) start to feel this connection more and more each day.
Also in terms of photography am I starting to explore the city in a new way, and I have discovered that some of the most traditional places in Florence can actually be quite photogenic (at least in black and white :-)) Have a look for yourself below.
PS: This week the website for the European blog conference The Hive 2013 went online. The second edition of this conference will take place in Berlin in May. I participated last year, and I can only say that it was absolutely fantastic, so do consider to come. I will definitely try to be there again. You can read my post about the first edition HERE.
Piazza della Repubblica and the Duomo.
I wonder if there are any bikes left in Florence which I haven't yet photographed?
It's fall. Takeaway cappuccino, sweaters and leaves on the street. Oh, and the smell in the air. I love it.
Cosy rain + dogs on bikes. That's just Florence. Have a lovely weekend!
