Mødrehjælpen is a private humanitarian organization in Denmark, which helps and assists pregnant women, mothers and families who find themselves in a difficult situation.
As a part of their program Mødrehjælpen has a number of second hand shops around the country, where you can stop by and donate children's clothes, you don't use anymore, and of course buy the clothes, which are for sale.
One of these shops is Børnestafetten which is located in the charming street Jægersborggade in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.
Prices are very very cheap and the clothes are really lovely. Personally I'm a big fan of buying second hand clothes for children, at least as long as they are still very young. They grow so fast, that you need to buy new things after a short while anyway, so choosing second hand will make you save a lot of money.
Another thing I like about this shop is that it's very organized, so it's easy to find what you are looking for.
You can also buy second hand maternity wear, something which I believe is so cool, since you are only going to use these clothes for a limited period, so why not save some money on them?
And finally the shop sells toys and baby accessories.
