mercato delle cure | florence

I had actually planned for a very long time, that some day I would have to go to my local market in Piazza delle Cure and take some photos for the blog. It's just around the corner from where I live, and it's a beautiful, very colorful, very local, mainly fruit and vegetable market.

Yesterday morning I went out with Matilde to have a cappuccino and a cornetto at our local bar, and since the weather was just perfect (it almost felt like the beginning of fall), I decided to also pay a visit to the market.

I hadn't taken the camera with me, but I had the next best thing in my bag; I had my iPhone and my newly found love for the fabulous VSCO app.

The photos I snapped weren't the best in their original version, but after some careful editing in my new favorite app (No, I am not being paid by VSCO for writing this :-)) the photos turned out so well, I decided they deserved a blog post of their own. Here they are - in a new gigantic format. Enjoy!

Ps: The market is in Piazza delle Cure every morning from Monday-Saturday until lunch time.
