this week

And so we entered September, my favorite month. September has always meant new beginnings to me. I wrote a post about that last year, so I'm not gonna repeat myself. Chances are this year will be no different. I have some pretty exciting things lined up in the nearest future.

On Tuesday I returned to Florence. Although I wasn't particularly looking forward to going home (nor was I sad though), I have to say it was nice to be back. It's a bit strange how you can leave a place two weeks earlier at 40 degrees and then return to a completely different weather situation, where temperatures are not only bearable but actually pleasant. I love it.

I can't say I've done a whole lot of things this week. We have taken things slowly, been to the playground almost every day, I have had some translations to do, and Matilde has been speaking a lot about lions :-)

Having lots of time for ourselves has meant that we have enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, those little things that matter so much when it comes to all. Like drinking a cappuccino at the bar, eating ice cream, hanging out in the park, reading Danish fashion magazines and even getting started on a new novel (reading it - not writing one!).

Besides the photos from the market, which I already published, I didn't really take any after returning to Florence, so all I have to share with you are these VSCO edited iPhone snap shots from Monday in Copenhagen.

I wish you all a happy Sunday! More This week posts HERE.
