Yesterday I woke up and thought I saw some sunshine outside. I was supposed to work but I couldn't resist what appeared to be a beautiful day in the middle of so much rain.

So I grabbed my camera and decided I was going to take some photos after leaving Matilde at the nursery.

When we got to the nursery the sky was black and soon it started to rain… I gave up my project. On my way home I came by my flower man in Viale Minzoni and I couldn't resist his tulips.

With so much rain and so many dark days it was such a relief to see some signs of spring and I grabbed a giant bouquet of white tulips and brought them home with me. I removed some bad parts and put them into water. And for the first time in a really long time I took a few photos just for the fun of it, with no other purpose than to share them on the blog. I can't remember when I did this the last time.

I have been (and still is) so crazy busy for such a long time that photography has been terribly neglected. (As has the blog :-/) I miss photography. And I miss blogging more often.

By the end of the month I am going to Copenhagen. A kind of improvised trip. I will do my very best to make that vacation a real one. Although I will do some portrait sessions, I will not bring other work with me and I will try to take things easy and only do the things I love to do. I need to relax and have fun with my daughter, my friends, my family and my camera.

And now back to work!

Ps: The sun actually came out today. It felt so good.
