As you may recall I went to Rome some months ago for just one day. Just to see friends and take lots of photos.

After an amazing lunch at 'Gusto I walked down Via del Corso together with my friend, Mia. As we reached Piazza del Popolo we said our goodbyes. She had to return to work and I had a little photo mission ahead of me: I wanted some nice shots of the view from Pincio above Piazza del Popolo.

The sky was to say it the least dark, and I had just reached the top of Pincio when hell broke out. Rain, lightning and thunder hit the city. Luckily I had been clever enough to bring both umbrella and raincoat so I hid under a tree and enjoyed the wonders of nature until it was over. Immediately after I got my reward. An amazing light appeared over the city and although it still rained a little bit I pulled out my courage and started photographing.

What a truly amazing city this is.
