Last month in Copenhagen - on my 40th birthday - we went on a little road drive along the coast. We didn't really have a plan and the weather wasn't the best, so after driving around for a while we decided we needed coffee and cake.

Apparently this was easier said than done. We drove and drove but didn't see any nice looking cafes on our way, so in the end we decided to simply continue all the way up to Elsinore - city of Hamlet.

It was actually my dad who suggested we go to The Culture Yard (Kulturværftet) and it turned out to be the best idea.

Such a fabulous place. Located right in front of Kronborg Kulturværftet is a beautiful piece of architecture with a lovely cafe and restaurant and a superb library on two floors with a play area for kids. Every wall is a window and the view is stunning.

We got our coffee and I went crazy with my camera. This is the result.
