The tower of the Danish parliament, Christiansborg, has recently opened up to the public. Up there you find a restaurant but the best part is that you can visit the tower - which is the highest in Copenhagen - for free just to enjoy the view. And so I did last month.

I enjoyed a lovely morning on my own walking the streets of Christianshavn, visiting CM at Noma and on my way back I stopped at Christiansborg, took the elevator up and enjoyed the view. While looking down I saw two stunning white horses on Christiansborg Ridebane. It was such an amazing sight that I obviously had to stop by them afterwards and take a few photos.
