Homemade raw snacks.
Camera, pen and notebook: Ready and so happy to be blogging again.
Made these raw chocolate snacks. Super easy and super yummy. Here is a before and after photo.
Went to the flower fair at Giardino dell'Orticoltura. Although it was a rainy day it was still pretty. More HERE.
It always makes me happy when I find vegan alternatives to traditional Italian cafe breakfast. Fortunately it happens more and more often and you can find soy milk in most Florentine cafes now.
Even my local gelateria has a great selection of vegan flavors. Here is one of my favorite combinations: Mango, pineapple and dairy free chocolate.
I'm not a big fan of cars, but I do love the look of old vintage Fiats. This week I stumbled upon this beauty in my local neighborhood. I think the color is nothing less than perfect!
And finally: The most amazing pink sky in Florence last night.
And finally some blog posts which caught my attention this week. (Some of them are older posts but still interesting!)
Minimal living: Could you live with only 100 items?
Speaking about minimal living and few possessions I was THIS close to purchasing the KINFOLK HOME book this week when I stumbled on it in a bookstore in the center. However I still need to actually read The Kinfolk Table which I bought last year so.... I'll wait a bit longer. It's a beautiful book though - and all about slow living.
I have discovered some great new blogs this week. One of them is Eco warrior princess (I think the name says it all).
Another one is About that food (vegan recipes and great food photography).
And finally if you would are into cool sustainable fashion I recommend you visit Sustainably Chic.
Check them out and have a great weekend!
