First days in Copenhagen

We arrived in Copenhagen on Thursday and we are fully enjoying the Danish summer.

We arrived on the night where Danes celebrate midsummer (Sankt Hans). It was the first time in many many years that I was in Denmark on this night, so we headed out to Dyrehaven to see some bonfires. Unfortunately the rain started pouring down before the end of the night but we got to enjoy a couple of hours of nature, ice cream and happy people.

The weather is perfect. True Danish summer at its best and yesterday we hit the beach and I even got in the water.

Last night I went to a school reunion celebrating our 25th anniversary (gosh, I am old...) We weren't a lot, but it was so much fun to see people again.

Today we are going to relax. Enjoy your Sunday!
