My most favorite food in the whole wide world is pizza.
Being used to Rome and Roman pizzerias it takes a lot to impress me on the pizza front, and I have to say that finding a great pizza in Florence isn't as easy as it is in Rome.
So when I discover pizzerias that are not only good but even organic you can understand what a thrill it is to me. I already wrote about another organic pizzeria in Florence, Berberè, but earlier this year I dicovered SimBIOsi.
SimBIOsi serves delicious pizzas made entirely from organic ingredients, and every Thursday you can try new gourmet pizzas made with whole grain flour and local ingredients.
The pizzas are super yummy. A simple Margherita is always a good choice, but other vegetarian versions are definitely also worth a try.
The pizzeria isn't very big but it's super cosy, and you can follow the pizza baking from your table, since the wood fired oven is placed in the middle of the restaurant. An absolute must try.
