Marina di Pietrasanta

Last weekend we jumped on a train and headed to Pietrasanta. I had wanted to visit the place for years but somehow never got around to do it even though it's just 90 minutes by train from Florence.

Well, last Saturday we finally got here and I loved it. We spent a couple of hours in the town - I will do a separate post with cityscapes when I'm done with the editing - and after lunch we took the bus to Marina di Pietrasanta which is three chilometers from the city.

We didn't manage to see a lot of beach and sea this summer so Matilde was more than thrilled to jump in the sea which was still very warm.

I will definitely come back to Pietrasanta soon again. Such a beautiful place. (If you've never been just wait and see my photos from the city).
